Bankruptcy law stipulates that a consumer must receive a financial education course before his or her debts can be discharged. This in-depth, comprehensive instruction covers such topics as creating a budget you can live with, understanding your credit report and score, finding hidden ways to save money, as well as the steps necessary to reenter the world of credit. Long-term financial stability is our goal for you. This course is a step in that direction.

Please keep in mind that you must receive the Pre-Filing Counseling certificate prior to participating in the Pre-Discharge Education course. If you take the pre-discharge course first, you may be required to re-take the course later for an additional fee.

CCCS Dallas offers the bankruptcy pre-discharge financial education course in person, by phone or online. The course content is the same, regardless of which delivery method you select. Online, on the phone, or on location, CCCS is there for you.
